Your parkway is the Township's

Oswego Township's Road District trims parkway trees at the Commissioner's discretion, removes dead and storm-damaged parkway trees, and grinds the stump. It doesn't replace removed trees, and planting in the right-of-way isn't allowed (Oswego Township). Call 630-264-4587 or email mailbox@oswegotownship.org.

Brush pickup

Oswego Township runs brush pickup monthly, April through October, for trimming and pruning debris only, not whole-tree removals. Limbs must be over 2 feet long and no more than 5 inches thick, at the curb by 7 a.m. on the Monday pickup day. Boulder Hill, Shore Heights and Marina Terrace are on the routes; country residents call 630-264-4587 (2026 spring newsletter).

Storms

NWS reports from Aug. 11, 2026 noted 6–8 inch branches down on Boulder Hill's north side (NWS). In July 2025, trees came down across Long Beach Drive (NWS).
